First Details Shared of Disney Destiny

2nd April 2024 - Disney Cruise Line today shared the very first details of its next Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Destiny. The sister ship to ‘Disney Wish’ and ‘Disney Treasure’ will have a first-of-its-kind theme – “Heroes and Villains”. Inspired by the duality of every great Disney story, guests onboard will encounter heroes and villains from their favourite films “The Lion King”, “Hercules” and “One Hundred and One Dalmations”. As part of a multi-year expansion of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the ship is scheduled for delivery in 2025, along with the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Adventure.

Brand-New Island Destination for 2024 in The Bahamas

8th February 2024 - Disney Cruise Line have just unveiled a brand-new island destination in the sunny tropics of The Bahamas, Lighthouse Point. In collaboration with the local Bahamian community, this idyllic island retreat is designed with families in mind, offering a huge family beach, a range of activities, and traditional Bahamian storytelling tied in with some of your favourite Disney characters. Scheduled for a grand opening in Summer 2024, keep an eye out on our socials for a more accurate date closer the time! 

Disney Cruise Line Updates Kids Club Age Ranges

20th December 2023 - Based on guest feedback and to enrich the experience for Disney Cruise Line's youngest sailors, the age ranges for Disney's Oceaneer Lab are being revised. 

Effective for sailings departing on or after 21st December 2023, the age range in Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab will change from 3 to 12 years of age to 3 to 10 years of age, with specially guided activities for children ages 3-4 years old. 

New Disney Cruise Terminal at Fort Lauderdale

16th November 2023 - Disney Cruise Line has officially opened its spectacular brand-new dedicated cruise terminal at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

For guests bursting with excitement, you won't even have to wait until you board the ship to start experiencing the magic. As you enter the new terminal, a spellbinding transformation awaits, immersing guests into the fabulous "big blue world" of Finding Nemo, brought to life by colourful murals featuring a whole host of fish, rays, and colourful coral. Keep your eyes peeled, because the closer to boarding you get, you'll be welcomed by none other than Nemo himself, along with fan-favourites Tad, Sheldon, and Pearl! 

Starting with the Disney Dream in November 2023 and the Disney Magic in May 2024, there will be three, four, and five-night cruises to tropical destinations in The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

The Brand-New Haunted Mansion Parlor: A Frightening Cruise Bar Experience  

31st October 2023 - The spookiest night of the year is fast approaching, and Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Treasure, has been infested with frightening ghouls and ghosts. Whilst onboard, they've been busy building the brand-new Haunted Mansion Parlor, the world's first Haunted Mansion-inspired bar due to launch in 2024. 

With a special collection of hair-raising merchandise you won't find anywhere else onboard and a range of bewitching cocktails including the sweet-toothed Ghoulish Delight and sour cherry infused Sympathetic Libations, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will offer complete immersion into the Haunted Mansion saga through eerie décor and sinister characters. 

Disney Treasure Welcomes 'The Tale of Moana' as a brand-new Broadway-style Production 

24th October 2023 - Following the hugely popular Walt Disney Animation Studios blockbuster film "Moana", Disney Cruise Line is adding a brand-new original Broadway-style production to the Disney Treasure's lineup. 

In what is incredibly exciting news, "The Tale of Moana" is set to premiere exclusively on board the new Disney Treasure ship, with guests watching Moana's adventures as she embarks on a heroic quest to save her island. Fans of the 2016 film will be delighted that the familiar characters of Gramma Tala, Maui, and the flamboyant Tamatoa, all make appearances on stage, plus the production will feature iconic songs from the film's celebrated soundtrack. 

Disney Treasure Will Feature Coco Restaurant, EPCOT Tower Suite, Aladdin Atrium, & Much More!

27th September 2023 - Disney Cruise Line unveiled exciting new details during their live-streamed Disney Treasure event, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the upcoming ship. Expect three unique dining experiences: Worlds Of Marvel, Plaza de Coco, and 1923. Showtime onboard features "Beauty and The Beast" and "Disney Seas The Adventure and much more! Moreover, for accommodations, Aladdin-themed veranda rooms and Lion King-inspired concierge options await.

Disney Treasure Now On Sale For Cruises From December 2024 – May 2025!

20th September 2023 - Starting in December 2024, the Disney Treasure will sail its inaugural season of Caribbean cruises, from its new home port of Port Canaveral, Florida. Bookings are now open to the general public!

20th April 2023 - Disney Cruise Line have announced that the new cruise liner that will be setting sail in the new charters of Southeast Asia will be named, Disney Treasure! Setting sail in 2024, you will be able to discover an adventure themed cruise ship like no other. Captain Minnie Mouse will be guiding guests on a journey of exploration and discovery, designed exclusively for the new ship.

22nd July 2022 - Halloween may still be a few months away, however we’re happy to announce the return of Halloween on the High Seas cruises, which will set sail from mid-September through to October 2023. Disney Cruise Line have just announced their Fall 2023 itineraries, and have they got some exciting surprises in store. 12th July 2022 - We’re giving you another sneak peak on what you can expect on the Disney Wish. Due to set sail this Summer, the Disney Wish is home to a number of adult-exclusive bars and lounges, including Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, a stylish bar that boasts stellar views and out-of-this-world concoctions. Families are invited to experience this interstellar location during the day, however at night, the lounge is transformed into a haven for adults only, where you’ll be able to sit back and watch the world drift by you whilst enjoying interactive tasting experiences inspired by the hit film franchise. If that wasn’t enough, guests will also be able to enjoy Quiet Cove, an adults-only refuge that will feature an infinity pool, bar and poolside lounge to name a few.

NEW! Exciting family water attraction!

28th June 2022 - Disney Cruise Line don’t do anything by halves, especially their exciting new family water attraction which will feature three themed areas that offer space for families and adults alike. AquaMouse will immerse guests in the world of timeless Mickey Mouse animated shorts through show scenes, lighting and special effects as they zoom through over 700 feet of water slides suspended above the upper decks. 6 pools will be dotted around tiered decks in addition to this slide, with a Toy Story-themed district set to be a firm favourite among young children, thanks to a splash zone, wading pool and family waterslide. Finally the Quiet Cove will be the place to be for adults looking for an oasis of calm as this adults-only area offers an infinity pool and poolside bar.

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, which sets sail this summer, offers many exciting dining options for you to experience. Marceline Market, whose name was inspired by Walt Disney’s childhood hometown, Missouri, is a food hall with inspiration from various marketplaces around the globe. The market will feature 10 food stalls each themed to a Disney animated film, such as Tangled, Alice in Wonderland and Ratatouille! Another popular dining option will be Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. Set to be located in the centre of the fun on the upper decks, this quick service restaurant will be the go-to for a quick bite to each at any time of the day!

NEW! Star Wars: Cargo Bay

27th May 2022 - There have been so many magical experiences announced on the brand-new Disney Wish that we just can’t count, and Star Wars: Cargo Bay is yet another that we just cannot wait for! This first-of-its-kind immersive experience will place children in the exciting role of creature handlers, as they learn about intergalactic beings such as a porg, Loth-cat, worrt and more. Throughout their cruise, they will use virtual reality-enabled data pads to keep track of and learn more about the creatures during a series of exciting tasks. The most exciting part, is that the children are actually on an exciting mission to deliver Rey and Chewbacca back to the resistance!

20th May 2022 - The Disney Wish is set to be a pretty spectacular experience all year round, but since Disney have announced the Incredi-Games, things have gotten even more exciting. Inspired by the hit Disney.Pixar movie ‘The Incredibles’, this interactive and daring game will allow families to take on an exciting obstacle course with crazy physical challenges set around the powers of the Parr family, not forgetting Frozone!

22nd April 2022 - The Disney Wish, which is due to set sale in Summer this year, will feature more immersive, storytelling experiences than ever before! The fifth ship in the Disney fleet will bring the world of Alice in Wonderland to life through Disney’s Oceaneer Club, where children will be able to slide ‘down the rabbit hole’ on a slide that lands into the kids club, with decorations nodding to the popular characters of the classic Disney film.

14th April 2022 - No Disney Cruise would be complete without that all-important shopping trip (or several trips) and the Disney Wish will certainly not disappoint! 8th April 2022 - If you have a sweet tooth, you’re in luck! A brand new ‘Inside Out’ inspired sweet shop has been announced for Disney’s new cruise ship, the Disney Wish! Joyful sweets is modelled around the control centre inside Riley’s mind, just like the movie! There will be desserts to suit every mood, along with sculptures of the characters we all know and love, and even some ‘Inside Out’ merchandise - you won’t want to miss this!

1st April 2022 - Good news if you have any future princes or princesses in your family, as the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is coming to the Disney Wish! Those aged 3-12 will be able to transform into their Disney idols, whether that be Princess Ariel, Cinderella, Captain Mickey or Minnie. Not only this, but children will be able to accessorise their look with nautical headbands and captain’s hats, necklaces and tiaras, your little ones will have the times of their lives! 18th March 2022 - News about the brand new Disney Wish is coming in thick and fast and we’re getting more and more excited! A brand new stage show on the first night of your voyage with your favourite Disney Characters titled ‘Disney Seas the Adventure’ has just been announced, and it sounds magical! The Disney Wonder sets sail on Inaugural Voyage from New Orleans

12th February 2020 - The Disney Wonder has embarked on an inaugural sailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. On departure of this first sailing, Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen and members of the traditional New Orleans Treme Brass Band gave a celebratory bon voyage! This limited season returns in 2021, visiting the Bahamas, Caribbean and Disney Castaway Cay. Disney Wonder finishes Dry Dock

10th October 2019 - Before she made her way down to San Diego, the Disney Wonder went in for a 2 week dry dock in a facility close to Vancouver. During these two weeks she gained a new sleek space for teens, a redesigned cafe just for adults and the French Quarter Lounge, complementing the design and feel of the Tiana's Place restaurant.

'Halloween on the High Seas' begins onboard Disney Cruise Line

28th August 2019 - Starting this week, the next 34 sailings across all four ships with be themed to this spooky time of year. 25th August 2019 - The fifth ship to the Disney Cruise Line fleet is going to be called Disney Wish, she will be delivered late 2021 with first sailings January 2022. Rapunzel will be featured on the stern on this beautiful ship along with her side-kick Pascal. Disney Cruise Line will also be welcoming a new Disney port of call that celebrates the spirit and culture of The Bahamas, located on the breathtaking island of Eleuthera at a place called Lighthouse Point.
