Disneyland Paris begins preparations for May 4th celebrations  

2nd April 2024 - Aiming to keep the intergalactic Star Wars experience throughout the park fresh and immersive, Disney will be introducing characters and locations from popular Disney+ series like Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian throughout the Park. Guests will have over 250 magical storyline variations to experience, including one to the mystical planet of Peridea from the Ahsoka series. Star Wars fans – keep your eyes peeled for the updates as they will be rolling out from April 5^th 2024.

Keep Your Eyes Peeled for New Decorations along Main Street U.S.A.  

20th February 2024 - Celebrating the brand-new Disney Symphony of Colours Show, Disney's Entertainment set design team have partnered with talented French artisans specializing in sculptures and ornament modelling to bring you the wonders of nature in the seasons of winter and spring. Drawing inspiration from the flamboyance of Art Nouveau, over 50 Disney Animation and Pixar characters are featured with a dazzling variety of colours, lights and flowers 'waking up winter'. The new decorations will be in place until 5th May 2024.

 

Tourist Tax Update for Disney Hotels & Disney Area Hotels  

7th February 2024 - In 2024, Disneyland® Paris visitors are facing increased tourist tax rates due to the upcoming Olympics in Paris. All guests staying overnight in Disneyland® Paris and the Ile-de-France region will be affected, with rates varying based on accommodation levels. Disneyland® Hotel has officially re-opened!  

5th February 2024 - The newly re-imagined five-star Disneyland® Hotel has officially re-opened its doors as of Thursday 25th January. Following several years of closure, Disneyland® Paris' flagship hotel has been completely re-imagined with every room undergoing a major transformation turning it into a luxurious fairy tale fit for a King or Queen. From Bohemian-crystal chandeliers in the lobby to two exclusive lounges, a luxury spa and even finer details like the ability to choose between seven types of pillows, no stone has been left unturned in Disneyland's re-imagined luxury hotel. 

 

Disney's 'Symphony of Colours' show takes centre stage at Disneyland® Paris   

5th December 2023 - From 8th January, Disney is brightening the winter mood with their brand-new show 'Symphony of Colours'. Witness the Disney Electrical Sky Parade, a dazzling display bursting with synchronised drones, colourful video projections, bright lights, and vibrant fountains right over the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle. 

From 10th February, discover the new daytime show, A Million Splashes of Colour, an all-singing, all-dancing, all-colourful extravaganza performed by a host of much-loved Disney and Pixar characters including Mickey, Timon, and Mirabel. Finally, also from the 10th February, guests will see Main Street, U.S.A. illuminated by the "Blooming in Colours: a journey into fairy worlds!" decorations bringing vibrancy, sparkles, and lashings of Pixie Dust sprinkled by Tinkerbell and Perriwinkle.

 

Introducing Autopia®, presented by Avis. A brand-new collaboration engineered with Disney Magic   

21st December 2023 - Commencing on the 18th December 2023, Disneyland Paris is thrilled to announce the integration of the Official Car Rental Partner, Avis, into the much-loved Discoveryland attraction, Autopia.

Thanks to the hard work of the Walt Disney Imagineering team, Avis's core values have been magically woven into the storyline of Autopia®, and to add a playful touch to the collaboration, visitors to the attraction will also be presented with a commemorative driver's licence, offering a wonderful keepsake of their visit to Autopia®, presented by Avis. 

Disney's Enchanted Christmas Goes Sustainable   

17th December 2023 - In adherence to Disneyland® Paris' environmental pledges this year, the Enchanted Christmas organisers have made the most out of a local collaboration with Pepiniere du Val d'Yerres, a nursery local to the area, by introducing fully sustainable 'living' Christmas trees to the Park.

Involving innovative anti-bun plant containers, the trees are spruced up for the festive season without the necessity to cut them down. For 2023, there are 80 natural living Christmas trees in the Disneyland® Park and since they won't be felled, the very same trees will return even larger for next year and beyond. 

Disney Village's long-awaited BRASSERIE Rosalie Officially Opens its Doors    

12th December 2023 - Indulge in the ultimate enchantment of BRASSERIE Rosalie, Disney Village's brand-new restaurant that draws inspiration from the gorgeous brasseries of Paris.

Rosalie, which opened its doors on 8th December 2023, offers its guests tantalizingly delicious classical French cuisine, from authentic snails from Burgundy to rich and sumptuous French onion soup, and all the fresh oysters and prawns to sink a ship. For those on the go, Rosalie also offers freshly made sandwiches, salads, and delightful baked pastries to go meaning you can maximise your time in the magic! 

Happy Birthday to Mickey - the Mouse Who Started It All   

28th November 2023 - A huge, magical happy birthday to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, both of whom have spread their magic in all corners of the globe for an incredible  95 years. Here's to another 95 years and more of spellbinding fun and laughter together! 

For those with a Disney+ subscription, why not celebrate the momentous occasion by watching a collection of films and series starring the mouse who started it all - including the recently remastered Archive Shorts, Mickey Mouse Funhouse episodes, and Me & Mickey shorts newly released to the platform.

16th November 2023 - On the enchanting last night of the year, Disneyland® Paris will offer its lucky guests the incredible opportunity to bid farewell to 2023 in a wonderful festive fairytale, surrounded by friends and family, and all the magic one could possibly want at Disneyland Paris. 

Welcome in 2024 with a spellbinding firework display that will illuminate the night sky over Sleeping Beauty's Castle or immerse yourself in an epic celebration at Walt Disney Studios® Park. Wherever you decide to enjoy the festivities, both parks will have extended opening hours until 1am allowing yourself and your loved ones to savour each and every magical moment. 

 

A Magical Transformation is now underway at Walt Disney Studios® Park  

8th November 2023 - With work already underway, Walt Disney Studios® Park has begun an extensive transformation programme aiming to enhance the guest experience and prepare the park for a sparkling future following 21 years of magical memories. 

The areas undergoing this magical makeover will be Production Courtyard, Toon Studio, and Studio 1, with works expected to be completed in late 2025. All attractions and shows will remain open however, with the exception of Flying Carpets Over Agrabah. 

 

Disney Symphony of Colours - from 8th January 2024 

25th October 2023 - Say goodbye to those winter blues with Disney's 'Symphony of Colours', a brand-new show due to launch in 2024. The magic will include a spellbinding show of fountains, bright lights, video projections, and synchronized drones that will light up the dark Parisian skies above Disneyland® Paris with animated floats and a vibrant display of colours. 

From February 2024, a completely new daytime show will take place too in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, featuring your favourite Disney and Pixar Characters. If that wasn't enough magic, Tinker Bell will also be transforming the iconic Main Street, U.S.A. into a unique colourful spectacle showcasing the best of nature which will be simply unmissable! 

 

Limited-Edition book to launch at Disneyland® Paris celebrating 100 years of Disney!

24th October 2023 - Discover the magic behind one of the most famous and iconic brands in the world and celebrate an incredible 100 years of Disney with a forthcoming 230-page book titled "Commemorating a Century of Disney at Disneyland® Paris" which invites readers to explore the company's unique journey through 100 pivotal milestones celebrated at the Park - via attractions, shows, and events. 

The limited-edition book, from the authors of "The Art of Disneyland® Paris", will also feature memorable stories from those that lived it as well as never before seen archival photos. Keep an eye out on our socials for the release date, available exclusively at Disneyland® Paris, in limited quantities.

 

Grand opening of Rosalie Restaurant in Disney Village - December 2023  

18th October 2023 - Replacing the existing and much-loved Café Mickey will be a brand new, two-floored panoramic restaurant named 'Rosalie', set to grandly unveil its doors in December 2023. Inspired by the timeless Parisian brasseries found all over the French capital, 'Rosalie' will offer a sophisticated place for a pit-stop with mouth-watering French classics to be enjoyed by diners over the stunning backdrop of Lake Disney and Disney Village. Disney Enchanted Christmas - 11th November 2023 to 7th January 2024  

11th October 2023 - From 11th November, Disneyland® Paris transforms into a magical winter wonderland featuring a gorgeous 24-metre-tall Christmas tree, sparkling lights, and even a sprinkling of snow falling on Main Street U.S.A. creating a wonderful cosy winter atmosphere. Visitors can also look forward to Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade, with five festive floats featuring Mickey and his friends, Disney Princesses, and even the man himself, Santa Claus. The highly-rated winter market L'Hiver Gourmand also returns, serving chilly customers toasty cups of hot chocolate, delicious seasonal specialities, and a wide selection of Disney-themed holiday souvenirs. Nobody does Christmas like Disney!

Halloween and New Year's Eve Special Announcement!

17th April 2023 - This year, Disneyland® Paris will be offering a special enhanced guest experience for 31st October - Halloween - and 31st December - New Year's Eve! This includes extended opening hours and special moments, rather than the standalone ticketing events from previous years. Also, the Halloween celebrations are even longer, with dates spanning from 1st October to 5th November. This is followed by Disney's Enchanted Christmas which is now celebrating from 11th November 2023 to 7th January 2024!

 

New Fuente Del Oro Restaurant Design

12th April 2023 - The popular Mexican restaurant situated in Frontierland within the Disneyland® Paris park is being reimagined with a brand new design! The redesign will be completed by June 2023 and will be focused around the modern classic Disney Pixar film, Coco!

 

AVIS Partnership with Disneyland® Paris

20th March 2023 - Disney have announced their new partnership with AVIS where they will now be the offical car rental service of Disneyland® Paris. Their concept for the brand new agency in Marne la Vallée - Chessy station will be unveiled this Summer. AVIS' services will be available to all resort guests. To make this new alliance an integral part of the Disneyland Paris guest experience, the AVIS brand will be associated in France with the well-known Autopia attraction in Disneyland® Park.

 

Disneyland® Paris Celebrate International Women's Day

8th March 2023 - To commemorate International Women's day, Disneyland® Paris have decided to switch up their iconic flowerbed at the entrance of the park! Mickey has now been replaced by a beautiful flowerbed arrangement of Minnie, to greet guests as they enter the park throughout March until the 30th.

 

The Mandalorian coming to Disneyland® Paris for a Limited Time!

1st March 2023 - With the very popular Star Wars show returning to Disney+, Disney have announced that Din Djarin & Grogu will be coming to Disneyland® Paris for a limited time! You will be able to find The Mandalorian in Discoveryland from 1st March to the 14th March where they will be making very special appearances around this section of the park!

 

Disneyland® Paris Announce Dates for their Disney Halloween Festival & Disney's Enchanted Christmas Seasonal Events

28th February 2023 - Kick off the spooky season with the Disney Halloween Festival, with dates just being announced from 1st October - 5th November 2023. Immerse yourself in the Halloween atmosphere that can be discovered throughout the resort, with Disney Villain interactions, the Disney Halloween cavalcade, and Disney Villain projections on the castle.

Disney's Enchanted Christmas will also be making a return from 11th November 2023 - 7th January 2024. Disney want Christmas to come alive like never before at Disneyland® Paris this year, with plans for an enchanting wonderland that will leave families in awe. Dazzling parades, magical Christmas tree lightings and musical shows await at the most magical place on earth.

The First Marvel Drone Show: "Avengers: Power the Night" Experience Begins

27th January 2023 - In addition to Disneyland® Paris' new marvelous Marvel Avengers Campus and the Disney Hotel New York® - The Art of Marvel, park guests are getting treated to another Marvel spectacle: "Avengers: Power the Night". This is a brand-new drone show experience that will be lighting up the sky nightly from January 28th all the way through to May 8th 2023! The Disney Junior Dream Factory returns to Walt Disney Studios® Park!

14th October 2022 - Everyone knows that Disneyland® Paris is the place where dreams come true, but have you ever wondered just exactly how these dreams are made? Behold Disney’s Junior Dream Factory that will teach guests the ins and outs of the dream-making machines. Frozen themed land coming to Walt Disney Studios® Park in 2023!

16th September 2022 - Disneyland® Paris is set to expand, and will be bigger and better than ever! A BRAND NEW Frozen-themed land will be coming to Walt Disney Studios® Park in 2023, where guests will be able to see Arendelle come to life, walk through Nordic-inspired village settings along a stunning lakeside promenade and enjoy a new attraction inspired by Disney’s Tangled, which promises to provide endless fun for the entire family. Of course, a trip to Disney’s new Frozen-themed land wouldn’t be complete without some magical encounters with some of your favourite Frozen Characters, who will be keeping cool in this amazing wintery wonderland.

Not only will guests be able to enjoy SPOOKtacular décor that will run through both Disney® Parks as well as mischievous encounters with your favourite Disney Villains, including Maleficent, Captain Hook and Cruella de Vil; guests can also enjoy Mickey’s Halloween Celebration that will be making its big comeback. These exciting celebrations will see Disney Characters dressed in their most boo-tiful Halloween costumes whilst travelling on their festive floats for all to see. The fun doesn’t stop there either, as numerous shops around the Parks will host exclusive souvenirs. 29th April 2022 - Disneyland® Paris have just released the dates for both their Halloween and Christmas season this year! Disney’s Halloween Festival will be making its spooky return on 1^stOctober 2022 and will run until 6th November 2022, during which time you’ll be able to get up close and personal with some scary Disney villains! Disney’s Enchanted Christmas will then follow, starting on 12th November 2022, through until 8th January 2023! The parks will be decorated in their Christmas finest and will be even more magical than usual!

 

New! Mickey and the Magician returns!

22nd April 2022 - The show you all know and love, the spectacular Mickey and the Magician is finally back at Disneyland® Paris! From the 23rd of April, guests will be able to experience the enchanting musical show perfect for the whole family. The ever popular stage production follows Mickey Mouse as he learns the ‘tricks’ of the trade, along with the help from popular Disney characters such as Rafiki from The Lion King and the Genie from Aladdin. Entry to this show is free to anyone with a valid ticket to Walt Disney Studios® Park. Guests will be able to book their seats on the Disneyland® Paris app from 19th April for arrivals from 26th April - 23rd June 2022. 8th April 2022 - It’s full steam ahead for the new Frozen-themed world coming to Disneyland® Paris, as works have already begun on the exciting newly announced land that will sit within Walt Disney Studios® Park! Elsa’s Ice Castle will take centre stage, towering 131 feet in the air. A brand new, yet to be announced attraction will take visitors on a journey through Arendelle, accompanied by their favourite Frozen characters, who you will also be able to have a royal meet and greet with! 18th March 2022 - Disneyland® Paris are now allowing guests to hug, play and interact with select characters once again. Character meet and greets were temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions, however Disneyland® Paris is now allowing guests to once again hug, play and interact with certain characters around the park, which we couldn’t be more happy about!

4th March 2022 - Disneyland® Paris have released another update on their 30th anniversary celebrations and we couldn’t wait to share it with you! Firstly, from the 6th of March the Disneyland Park is going to be transformed into a vibrant wonderland bursting with brightly coloured decorations as far as the eye can see. Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald and friends will also be dazzling in their brand new colourful outfits to celebrate the special occasion, which you can see in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle when they perform in their brand new daytime show! 25th February 2022 - Preparations for the 30th anniversary celebrations are well underway and to celebrate the occasion, from the 6th of March there will be 10 themed new Gardens of Wonder installed in front of Sleeping Beauty castle. These gardens will feature sculptures of popular Disney characters in a naturistic setting. Also, the much loved Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands show is returning on the 23rd of February! 13th October 2021 - On 3rd December 2021 Disneyland® Paris will introduce a new accessibility program, which will empower guests with disabilities and special needs to experience the parks according to their own autonomy evaluation. Disneyland® Paris believes that guests themselves are in the best position to determine what they are capable of and which attractions they could experience. The experience of each guest with disabilities or special needs should therefore be guided by their own assessment of their level of autonomy and potential need for an accompanying careperson. 

Disneyland® Paris' new accessibility program will focus on guest autonomy, increase the number of accessible attractions by revising priority and easy access conditions and evacuation procedures, remove the requirement for disabled guests to be accompanied on attractions and provide a 25% discount for disabled guests presenting official disability documentation and for one potential accompanying careperson.

Walt Disney World: Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion and Mary Poppins will be getting their first ever attraction! Epcot will also be home to an attraction based on the feature film Moana! The new Guardians of the Galaxy themed attraction at Epcot will be called Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and will feature a reverse launch! Disney Cruise Line: The fifth ship to the fleet has been announced and will be called the Disney Wish, featuring Rapunzel on the stern. She will set sail in January 2022.

Future Marvel Land Revealed at Disneyland® Paris

11th December 2018 - The first detailed look at part of the multi-year Walt Disney Studios® Park expansion has been revealed, as Disneyland® Paris tease a new concept image for the Marvel reworking of the park’s existing Backlot. Depicting a view of the future land as if stood between the current Restaurant des Stars and Armageddon: Les Effets Speciaux queue, the artwork includes numerous clues toward the future heroes taking on the restaurants and attraction buildings. While we already know Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith will be completely repurposed into a roller coaster centred around Iron Man, it now also seems clear Ant-Man will feature at the existing Restaurant des Stars while Armageddon will eventually see its demise for a major reworking into a Spider-Man-centred experience.

 

Captain Marvel joins Marvel Season of Super Heroes at Disneyland® Paris

7th November 2018 - The Marvel Season of Super Heroes returns from 23 March to 16 June 2019 for an epic second year at Walt Disney Studios® Park. In 2019, new Super Heroes will join the Avengers, such as Groot who will help the Guardians to save the galaxy. To celebrate the release of her new movie, Captain Marvel will be landing at Disneyland® Paris for the first time ever as part of Marvel Season of Super Heroes. This will be followed by the return of The Marvel Super Heroes on March 23rd 2019! And this year, a few new heroes will be making an appearance, including Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Celebrities Join Over 25,000 Runners For Disneyland® Paris Magic Run Weekend!

25th September 2018 - World Record holder Paula Radcliffe and TV personalities Michelle Heaton and Ryan Libbey were amongst thousands of runners who took part in the third annual Magic Run Weekend at Disneyland® Paris this weekend. The stars joined Mickey Mouse and almost 26,000 fitness fanatics to compete in races through both Disney Parks. Taking in the sights along the way including Sleeping Beauty Castle and the world famous Main Street U.S.A., whilst being cheered on by their families.

Lineberty - the app that queues for you has been introduced at Disneyland® Paris!

13th July 2018 - Lineberty is an application which aims to reduce waiting times at certain meet and greet points with Characters including The Incredibles, Mickey or friends, Woody or friends, Buzz Lightyear or friends, Captain America and in the En Coulisse restaurant at Walt Disney Studios® Park. Can be booked from 9.45am to book a same day meet & greet. The meet & greet locations are only accessible with a Lineberty booking.

Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch offers dog-friendly accommodation!

20th June 2018 - From 13th July 2018 Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch will welcome dogs in some of it's cabins, with 1 dog accepted per Cabin. Price: £26 per night + no deposit. Touch-up for Sleeping Beauty's Castle

9th August 2016 - Painters are beginning to restore Sleeping Beauty's Castle to its former glory after its colours have faded gradually over the last few years. The main tower will be restored to its original colour design and the golden spires and tiles will also be given a brush-up. This project will also include work on the castle's stone bridge, which will be cleaned and repaired.
