Romantic Aurora Adventure

This adventurous, romantic getaway includes a stay in a glass-roofed Aurora Cabin, fantastic traditional Finish cuisine and two special private activities specially designed for couples. With adrenaline-pumping adventures and plenty of blissful relaxation, this is sure to be an unforgettable holiday!

Experience Itinerary

Day 1

You will be collected from Ivalo airport and driven to the Northern Lights Village, set deep in the untouched, pristine Lappish wilderness.

You'll be shown to your warm, cosy cabin nestled in-between the snow-covered fir trees of the Arctic Forest.

The Aurora Cabins are a magical way to view the wintry star-filled sky and the Northern Lights from the comfort and warmth of your bed.

The laser-heated glass-roof opens up into the northern sky, directly above your bed!

After you've settled in and enjoyed dinner, you'll set out on your first Aurora experience, venturing into the dramatic fells on snowshoes, and with any luck you'll witness the spectacular Northern Lights on your first night!

Day 2

Your morning excursion will be a fantastic four hour snowmobile ride, journeying deep into the snowy fells and forests. Enjoy an exhilarating journey through stunning natural beauty.

Enjoy an evening at leisure; explore the site after another delicious dinner by the crackling log fire, or cosy up and admire the starry night sky through your cabin's glass roof.

Day 3

The morning of the third day of your experience is yours to enjoy. Enjoy the comfort that the site has to offer and the skis and snowshoes at your disposal.

You will then enjoy your next exciting excursion - a two hour reindeer express. Firstly you'll meet the reindeers, before travelling through the pine forest in a sleigh pulled by the gentle animals.

In the evening you'll experience a different type of journey, as you are taken by snowmobile deep into the wilderness. You'll then hunker down in a heated sleigh and take in the spectacular natural surroundings, with another chance to experience the Northern Lights.

Day 4

Enjoy a final breakfast before being driven back to Ivalo airport, hopefully feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after your romantic adventure!
