'Made to Remember' Carnival has officially begun at PortAventura World 

20th February 2024 - Promising unforgettable celebrations including marching bands, themed decorations throughout the park and cast members in wonderful colourful costumes, the 'Made to Remember' Carnival has officially begun. Guests too are fully encouraged to dress up and participate in the festivities and truly embrace the spirit of Carnival.

Well, stop dreaming because all this is possible with the new VR experience coming to PortAventura World: Zero Latency! 

PortAventura World opens new Uncharted-themed dark ride coaster!

23rd June 2023 - In collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, PortAventura World has unveiled a thrilling new dark ride coaster with an Uncharted theme. Created in partnership with Sally Dark Rides and Intamin, renowned creators of immersive attractions and record-breaking amusement rides, the ride is titled 'Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence.' Inspired by the 2022 film Uncharted, this multi-dimensional indoor roller coaster boasts 700 meters of track, five launches, captivating audio-visual effects, and immersive elements, offering an exhilarating experience for visitors.

PortAventura World is Back! 'The Carnival of Carnivals' Kicks Off the New Season at the Parks

17th February 2023 - After a long wait, it's time to welcome back PortAventura World with carnival celebrations! PortAventura World Carnival is waiting for you to join the party at their resort and kick off the new season with bang. Carnivals from Venice and Rio de Janeiro come together to create the ultimate party, which will be consisting of dance shows, carnival decorations throughout the park, and the opportunity to wear your own carnival costume during your stay! Celebrations will continue until 26th March 2023.

Better get your costume ready, because PortAventura are ready to welcome you back to their resort!

Say Goodbye to PortAventura World for Another Season

7th January 2023 - It's time to say goodbye for now to your favourite resort, PortAventura World. The Winter season is coming to an end on the 8th January and opens its doors to visitors once again on the 17th February. Until then, you'll have to plan your next trip to PortAventura World and visit their carnival celebrations in February! (More information to follow).

NEW! Uncharted Themed Ride Announced for Opening in 2023!

2nd December 2022 - PortAventura World's new ride is based on the universe of Uncharted, the Sony Pictures production featuring Tom Holland! This brand new ride will be the first dark ride rollar coaster, and will blaze a trail for the rest of Europe to follow. This rollar coaster will allow you to travel 700 meters where you will discover dark and uncharted territories in an expedition that is guaranteed to thrill!

Italian Nights at Ferrari Land are Back!

15th November 2022 - Italians Nights have finally arrived at Ferrari Land, so you can experience the adrenaline this exciting park has to offer in a completely unique way. Every Friday from 18th November to 2nd December, you can roam the streets of Ferrari Land and experience amazing attraactions like Red Force. All this for only €15 adult, €13 junior and senior, and €9 disabled visitors (only available at the ticket booths). Guests staying in one of the resort hotels on the Friday nights will have free entry to Italian Nights, a 1-day access to Ferrari Land, and unlimited access to PortAventura Park!

Halloween at PortAventura World is here!

24th September 2022 - It's finally time for the spooky Halloween celebrations at PortAventura World! You'll be able to enjoy the autumn fun throughout the entirety of the resort, and can even experience the two newest attractions. The all new passage of terror HorRock in Texas by MTV, and the new family passage Trick or Treat, will be open for you to enjoy! Join the scary celebrations until 13th November.

New Opening Times at Ferrari Land!

1st September 2022 - Just announced are the new opening and closing times for the Ferrari Land park! You can now visit the park between 16:30-23:30, so you can start your engines in PortAventura World and cross the finish line in Ferrari Land! These dates are between 6th September 2023 until 18th September 2023.

PortAventura World to Build the Largest Self-Consumption Photovoltaic Plant in a Spanish Tourist Destination

11th August 2022 - PortAventura World plan to build the largest self-consumption photovoltaic plant within any Spanish tourist destination. They will be installing more than 11,000 photovoltaic modules with a capacity 6MWp; this will an incredible third of all energy required at the resort. This is an amazing step for increased sustainability within parks like this.

We can't wait to see more steps being taking from parks and resorts across the world like this!

El Templo Del Fuego now open!

12th July 2022 - PortAventura World has the perfect action-packed adventure for the bravest of the brave. Dare to enter the Templo del Fuego in search of protected treasure, where explorers will experience for themselves, the challenges and fears that an archaeologist would face day to day. You’ll have to find a way out and escape the curse that befalls anyone who dares to desecrate the temple. What are you waiting for? The adventure awaits!

Nights in PortAventura Park are back!

12th July 2022 - Summer is upon us, and to ensure you and the family have more than enough time to explore all PortAventura World has to offer, the Parks are extending their opening hours to 11pm across the whole season. As guests prepare to make their way out of the Parks, you’ll be greeted by an explosion of colours, music and floats, that will feature a cast of artists, as well as Park mascots, with the likes of Woody himself, Bert, Ernie and Grover in the stunning PortAventura Parade. That’s not all! Before you go, be sure enjoy one last show and get ready for a magical masterpiece that will take place on water. The multimedia show will combine water with fire, light, sounds and special pyrotechnical effects that will leave you in awe.
